Concerts and Performances

Duke Chapel provides a magnificent setting for performances by diverse artists and ensembles.

Duke Chapel Choir
Each year, the Duke Chapel Choir and Duke Chorale presents two concerts with orchestra, including Handel’s Messiah, and a Spring Oratorio each April. Tickets are available at least one month in advance of the performance date at the Duke Box Office.

  • 75th Anniversary of Duke Chapel, featuring the Durufle Requiem
    Chapel Choir and Vespers Ensemble
    Sunday, April 18th,2010 at 4:00 pm

Organ Recital Series
The organ recital series also features internationally acclaimed guest organists. These performances on Sundays at 5:00 pm are free and open to the public. You can view this year's series and past series.

Duke Vespers Ensemble
Each year, the Duke Vespers Ensemble performs a Spring concert, which is free and open to the public.

Other Performances
The Chapel also hosts concerts on the Duke Artists Series and performances by regional organizations such as the Choral Society of Durham, the Vocal Arts Ensemble of Durham, the North Carolina Boys Choir, and the North Carolina Symphony. You see when upcoming concerts are on the calendar.
