Currently featured at the Duke Chapel, Hollis Chatelain's Hope for Our World exhibit is a dream-like portrayal of current social injustices in our world today. Duke Chapel to Host Textile Art Exhibit
Beginning March 30, 2008, Duke Chapel will host a textile art exhibit entitled "Hope for Our World" by local artist Hollis Chatelain. To celebrate the exhibit and raise awareness, on Saturday, April 5, 2008, Duke Chapel will hold Arts in Activism Day. The program will begin with a conversation between Duke Chapel Dean Sam Wells and artist Hollis Chatelain at 1:00 pm, followed by a guided tour of the exhibit led by the artist at 2:00 pm, and a chance to visit information tables from local advocacy groups....
