Completed in the summer of 1997, this organ consists of 21 ranks, 23 stops, and approximately 960 pipes. It is located in a “swallow’s nest” gallery on the middle north wall of the Memorial Chapel.

Specification

Organ tuned in pure 1/4th SC meantone temperament pitched one half-tone below a' at 440 Hz norm. The choice of D-sharp/E-flat and G-sharp/A-flat on five keys of each manual and two pedal keys is determined by two levers.

Keyboard compasses: Great, 47 keys: CDE - c''' in “gebrockene Octav” form; Brustwerk, 45 keys: CDEFGA - c''' in “kurz Octav” form; Pedal, 25 keys: CDE - d' in Schnitgerian form.

Mechanical key action, suspended; mechanical stop action. Metal flue pipes of fine tin-lead alloys, hammered and voiced for vocale sound; the Italian pipes are modelled after Tuscan pipes from 1480, 1551, and 1612. Cone tuning used for open metal flue pipes; soldered domed hats for stopped metal pipes. Façade pipe mouths gilded with 23-carat gold leaf. Reeds arranged for easy tuning by the organist. Large bass pipes of Bourdon and Principal made full length in wood, placed in room behind organ along with wind system consisting of wedge bellows winded by an electrical blower.
