The PathWays House

The PathWays House, 1115 West Chapel Hill St., Durham, NC 27701

The PathWays House is a renovated boarding house in the Durham West End Neighborhood (also referred to as Southwest Central Durham). Summer Interns and PathWays Fellows reside in the house for the duration of their program, and Duke undergraduates may also apply for residency (preference is given to junior and senior PathWays Chapel Scholars). If you’re interested in applying for residency as a Duke undergraduate, fill out an application.

The Path to the PathWays House:

  • From Duke Chapel travel down Chapel Dr.
  • First right off circle on Chapel Dr.
  • Left on University Dr. continue approximately 3/4 miles to traffic light at intersection of Kent St. and W. Chapel Hill St. (University Drive turns into W. Chapel Hill St. at the light).
  • Travel straight through intersection and you'll see on the right our big, white house, with the bright yellow door.
  • Turn in to the paved public lot immediately to the left of the house. You may also park in the marked spaces on the street.
