The Chapel’s active role in the life of the University is
supported by a dedicated Chapel staff of twelve and Chapel
Music staff of seven, supplemented by interns and the staff of over two
dozen groups involved in religious life on campus.

More than 20 campus ministers and chaplains provide
leadership to more than 1,500 students involved in religious life on
campus.
Many of the staff have offices in the Chapel basement,
and all groups receive administrative support from the Chapel.

Chapel Attendant
Duke Chapel is accepting applicants to serve as chapel
attendant for weeknights and weekends. If you are interested
in working Monday-Saturday, please contact Mollie Keel at mkeel@duke.edu.

Office Assistant
Duke Chapel keeps ongoing applications for reliable,
responsible, part-time office assistants to work 10-15
hours per week to assist Chapel staff with administrative
tasks. Position is restricted to Duke undergraduate students
only. Responsibilities include filing, copying, typing,
sending mailers, and maintaining and ordering office
supplies. Student will also be responsible for creating
displays on campus bulletin boards. To apply, email
