University Service of Worship
University Worship at 11:00 each Sunday morning is the centerpiece of life at Duke Chapel. The Services are Christian, ecumenical, and feature some of the world's finest preaching and sacred music. Parking is available in the new parking garage just behind the Chapel and the Bryan Center. An up-to-date preaching schedule is available in the calendar section of the Chapel's website.

Ecumenical Christian Fellowship
Duke Chapel and Religious Life sponsors ecumenical Christian services for various occasions in Goodson Chapel at Duke Divinity School. Check our web calendar frequently for upcoming services.

Duke University Mission Trips
The Chapel sponsors several mission trips each year. Over Fall Break we'll be going to the mountains of North Carolina to do home repair. Our Spring Break mission trip will be to Belize and Honduras. Contact Associate Dean Craig Kocher if you'd like to join us. We'd love to have you along!

Sunday Night Worship
Join us on Sunday evenings for a student-centered service of worship featuring beautiful music and passionate preaching at 5:00 p.m. in the Divinity School’s Goodson Chapel.

Service of Prayer and Holy Communion
Every Tuesday afternoon at 5:15 p.m. during the academic year, Duke Chapel offers a 30 minute ecumenical service of prayer and Holy Communion in the Memorial Chapel. We welcome all who need a safe place to pray and be fed by scripture and the sacrament.

Choral Vespers
Choral Vespers is celebrated by the Duke Vespers Ensemble at 5:15 pm each Thursday throughout the academic year. This thirty-minute candlelight service of worship consists of scripture readings, prayers, and sacred music. The Duke Vespers Ensemble, a select group of singers under the direction of Allan Friedman, Assistant Conductor and Administrative Coordinator of Chapel Music, specialized in singing Renaissance and twentieth-century motets and provides the music for the service. One of the Deans or a guest minister preside at each service. Lectors are chosen from the University community.
