Duke Chapel has a unique
role in encouraging discussion around matters of common concern
and enabling dialogue around the deeper issues that shape our
character, lives, and world.
Toward this end, Duke Chapel seeks
to encourage such discussions through events such as the Deans’ Dialogue
series, where the various Deans articulate their vision and
perspective on the broader issues that face every student,
faculty, staff and other Duke community members.
Past dialogue topics have included:
- Is it possible to do any good?
- What would you do with $100 million?
- Living lives of consequence
