Duke University Chapel presents special worship services to commemorate
important dates in the liturgical year. In addition to special services
during Advent, these services include Christmas Eve,
the Blessing of Animals,
All Hallows Eve,
imposition of ashes on Ash Wednesday, and Holy Week services.
Holy Week services include Palm Sunday at 11:00 a.m., Maundy
Thursday in the evening, Stations of the Cross at midday on Good
Friday, Tenebræ on the evening of Good Friday, Great Easter
Vigil on Saturday, sunrise service in Duke Gardens on Easter morning,
and 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services in the Chapel on Easter
